Stephanie Chyn Sarabia, a graduating student from Tagbilaran City Science High School’s STEM Senior High School Batch 8, has completed her high school journey with numerous achievements.
Sarabia, also known as Chynny Chynchyn, finished her senior high school with high honors and secured several awards, including:
- 1st Place University of the Philippines Kadugong Bol-anon Academic Festival Great High School Debate
- 2nd Best Speaker University of the Philippines Kadugong Bol-anon Academic Festival Great High School Debate Senior High School Category
- 3rd Place Stones Stories by Bohol Island Geopark
- Sayaw Alamdag Outstanding Service Award
- Sayaw Alamdag Outstanding Performer
- Sayaw Alamdag Outstanding Choreographer
- Ms. United Nations 2024 – Thailand
She also received awards for Best in Retouch, Best HMUA sa Biyo (with Breanna), Best in OA outfits, Best in Pangarte, Best in Gwapo Spotter, Digicam Holder Queen, and Outstanding Yapper.
Sarabia held various leadership positions, including President of Sayaw Alamdag (2025), Public Information Officer (PIO) of 12-Biyo, Vice President of Sayaw Alamdag (2023-2024), Whip of Lantugi Debate Club (Team A), PIO of 10-Einstein, and member of the Society of Student Historians.
As she reflects on her high school journey, Sarabia notes that the experience was not without its challenges.
“These years were marked by sleepless nights, endless days, and the occasional mishap of a forgotten homework or a missed deadline,” she said. “Yet through it all, we endured, with strength in our hearts and wisdom in our minds.”
Sarabia and her fellow graduates have composed a melody that will linger on, reminding them of who they were and who they dared to become. As they move forward, they promise to never forget the symphony they created as one.
Tagbilaran City Science High School, established in June 1995, has a history of academic excellence. The school has been recognized for its achievements in various fields, including securing top honors in the National Achievement Test (NAT) for Grade 10 during the school year 2022-2023.
Sarabia expressed her gratitude to her school, saying, “Thank you, TCSHS, for being my home for the past six years!” As she closes this chapter of her life, Sarabia is ready for what lies ahead, with memories she will always cherish and a soul ready for the future.
The graduation ceremony marks the end of one season and the beginning of another for Sarabia and her fellow graduates. With their heads held high and hearts full, they are ready to take on new challenges and make their mark on the world.
