Camille Villar Gains Support from Bohol Governor for Senate Bid

MANILA, Philippines — Camille Villar, a millennial candidate for the Philippine Senate, expressed gratitude to Bohol Governor Aris Aumentado for endorsing her campaign ahead of the May 2025 elections.

During a campaign visit to Central Visayas, Villar highlighted her priorities, including the welfare of Overseas Filipino Workers, women, and children, as well as support for small and medium-sized enterprises, infrastructure, housing, and education.

Villar emphasized the need to strengthen resources and manpower for local tourism to boost the economy and create jobs. She praised Bohol’s status as a global tourist destination, citing its coral reefs, Chocolate Hills, Loboc River Cruise, Hinagdanan Cave, and activities like swimming with whale sharks and snorkeling with sea turtles.

Villar also thanked Vice Governor Tita Baja, Board Member Nick Besas, and Bohol Third District Representative Kristine Alexie Besas-Tutor for their warm hospitality during her visit.
