Bohol, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard urged mariners and fisherfolk to remain vigilant as crews searched for a missing fisherman in waters off Baclayon.
The Coast Guard advised vessels and fishing communities in Baclayon and nearby towns, including Alburquerque, Loay and Dauis, extending toward waters facing Siquijor province, to be on the lookout for the missing man.
Anyone who sights a person matching the fisherman’s description was asked to render assistance and immediately notify the nearest Coast Guard unit.
