New Urgent Care, Ambulatory Center Opens in Tagbilaran

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol – A new Bagong Urgent Care and Ambulatory Services (BUCAS) center has opened in Tagbilaran City, marking the first such facility in Central Visayas to be housed within a local government-run health office.

Located at the Tagbilaran City Primary Care Facility, the center aims to provide affordable and accessible healthcare to residents of the city and nearby areas. It operates from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

A team of physicians from the Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital (GCGMH) is assigned to the facility. Among them are Dr. Luciano Sarabosing, Jr., Dr. Ma. Christyl Vie Felias, Dr. Sheena Mae Sevilla, Dr. Roselle Joy Rosales, Dr. Jeocette Caina, Dr. Nathalie Nicole Makinano, Dr. Abigail Cuevas-Butron, Dr. Thara Jill Anasco, and Dr. Justine Sombrio.

Officials said the BUCAS center is expected to ease the strain on GCGMH’s emergency rooms and outpatient departments by managing minor but urgent medical cases.
