The Bohol provincial government honored its retiring employees in a ceremony on Tuesday, recognizing their years of service and contributions to the province.
The Provincial Human Resource Management and Development Office (PHRMDO) organized the event, where PHRMDO Head Dr. Anne Mariquit Oppus lauded the retirees as “lasting inspirations.”
Governor Aris Aumentado acknowledged the retirees’ vital role in Bohol’s development, emphasizing their efforts as crucial to the province’s progress.
Vice Governor Tita Baja, Provincial Administrator Asteria Caberte, and Board Member Elpidio Bonita also attended the ceremony, extending their congratulations to the retirees.
The event aligns with the province’s Strategic Change Agenda, underscoring the significance of integrity and appreciation in public service. The retirees were also recognized for their contributions to key milestones, including Bohol’s designation as the Philippines’ first and only UNESCO Global Geopark.
